Maurice,

I do not know why you have to "hijack" my opportunity responding to Glass. Your post is the exact post I would like to let Glass know. I am depressed!! (ggg) I am going to exchange some thought with you. This "order" is only good for Maurice!!! (ggg)

I soooooooo concur with Rocket Man, regarding the risks of the space business. I have wanted to say this (about IRIDF) for some time, but haven't had the guts, or the time, to write such a post. Of course, some of the risks are also shared by G*. But G* does avoid risks wherever reasonably possible.

Iridium's technology is a lot sexier than G*, but I see no technological advantage. There is a marketing advantage, due to true global coverage, but G* reaches about 99% of the Earth population. I* can have the other 1%.

And I will publicly state that in no way do I ever tend to disclose proprietary information. I enjoy this thread, and hope that I can contribute to it that information that is publicly available, if not hard to understand for the "non-rocket scientist" crowd.

Regards to all!

Mr. A
