seppo:

Why do I have the feeling that the books you refer to have 'evolution' as the main theme and the books deal with how far along we haven't gone in the evolutionary process as it is a slow, arbitrary (mutation and all) and arduous phenomenon . If they don't they should have. <gg>

Ramsey,

This is the second time you have opened a post with an attempt to preempt my reply with a call to end the discussion only to go on and belabor the subject with, what you apparently hope, is the last word.

<<Hopefully, in the future, before you declare individuals like Holbrooke as new heroes, you may reflect on this round of discussion and take into consideration the dissenting opinion.>>

While I find this remark condescending I will say that I fully considered your opinion and find it very flawed for the specific reasons stated. Holbrooke continues to have my admiration for stating what needed to be said.

I note, you still have not commented in any definitive way on what supposed "Asian Values" are. All you have done is try to suggest that Worswick's views are racist and mine are "supremist" (sic). As such I think you are right. There is no point in going on with this discussion.
