My favorite is when Alomex confidently (even arrogantly) bet that Corel (at $6) would double before Apple (at $13).

Today Corel is $2.

Apple is $27.

However, having Alomex babble about the same things which don't quite reconcile with reality is a good thing, as it serves as a contrarian signal.

you suggested to short the stock since it was aound $18.

Come again? I did not recommed shorting the stock at $18. The last shorting recommendation I made was in August of last year. Since then I pointed problems in this company without going as far as saying short. In January I changed my recommendation to neutral.
