Goldsnow: It is a sad comment and a reaction against Western style democracy, which seems to be almost universal throughout the former USSR and E. European countries. You can't blame the people who have nothing, not even hope. But it does make one wonder if the West couldn't have done something to help. Puts into perspective our own little problems. And of course spells trouble further down the road.
