Jin, do you notice how Jamie never responds to your statement on
how much he lost... I think he hates to talk about it... He could have made a pretty penny, and now he's taking his grudges out on the stock itself... Typical symptoms of a sore loser... Dusty

<<<<The details aren't out yet, not about this, or the 3Q numbers.>>>>

When might the details on the third quarter numbers (3rd Q ended Sept. 31) be coming out? Don't you think it's about time? Someone posted that Ira should release the audit at the best time possible... ummmm, wouldn't this be tomorrow?

I didn't sell merely because FAMH claimed two different sets of earnings for the third quarter.

I sold because: A) FAMH never even admitted that the first earnings claims were improper, they just issued new earnings claims (not even backed up by so much as a press release); and 2) no explanation came as to why the earnings for that quarter were suddenly cut in half almost four months after the end of the quarter.

If it were an honest mistake, and easily explainable, why not give the explanation?

A simple observation: I haven't heard anybody claim to be buying at the bell here, but we all know there will be a good deal of selling. We also know, if these posts are to be trusted, that people are putting in buys for much lower prices than .67.

So the MM's open, see lots of sells at the market, lots of buys at 15 or 20 cents cheaper... where do you think the price goes?

To match the buys, of course.

Well Jin et al,

I have now read the last 500 posts.

My opinion is this:

Ira Monas is constantly running ahead of the competition. Whatever is reported publicly was devised privately some time before.

Ira has positioned Firamada to initiate a hostile takeover, if necessary. You can bet he has already secured the support for it, too, from ATXI shareholders.

The last-minute denial by ATXI on Friday was a last-ditch effort from a wounded company.

IMO this deal will go through and ATXI won't have a say in the matter.

You all are debating the short-term effects of this deal. The long-term effect is a fair market value for FAMH.

I will hold and probably add to my current 100,000+ shares.

Jin, in answer to your question, I broke even on my FAMH investment, though of course I could have doubled if I'd stayed in. Also, my getting out had nothing to do with LE. I based my decision on my correspondence and phone conversations with Ira.

The really unfortunate people here are the new recruits that you, and others have brought in at recent prices. I respect the fact that you work very hard at your DD, but you have greatly underestimated the impact of Ira's lack of professionalism, and that is your Achille's heel. I also believe you are conscientious and will probably feel some remorse when faced by people on this thread who have lost 50% of their investment.

BTW, Brad, if you're reading this, are you proposing that it's not only acceptable, but prudent for Ira to keep the financials in his pocket until he can whip them out as "his ace in the hole?" Now you're really reaching.
