George,
They do sponsor the Nightly Business Report with my man Paul (currently on vacation) Kangus. A real business like pitch that says very little in a very dignified fashion.

It did made me think about buying some shares some time ago. My broker advised against it. I was going to research DEC, but never got to it. Think I will call and remind him. He made a mistake on that. (He is a very conservative individual) Would have been nice to own a few shares right about now.

Yo George! Did the news of Intel perhaps investing in Samsung stimulate the 'ol bean?

biz.yahoo.com

Wouldn't that give Intel a piece of the action in all significant CPUs - again? They'll be producing Alpha and investing in the other Alpha producer. Perhaps they think Compaq will sell a few of them while waiting for the vapor to clear?

good to read your Compaq posts,
Tom
