<<Maxwell, wake up, AMD has poor process development and manufacturing control ... 350mhz by AMD won't happen.>>

Do you want to make a bet? I say AMD will manufacture K6 parts at 350MHz.

AMD has consistently produced 350 MHz+ K6 with yield ~ 80% on many lots, according to a confidential, reliable source. Furthermore, the K7 development is well on track. AMD has developed the copper technology for wiring, which can conduct electricity better than Aluminium. It plans to fabricate K6 and K7 using the copper tech in parallel with IBM later this year. AMD plans to announce the yield and other exciting development on April 7 when the earnings is released. The St. expects $-0.25/shr. The yield improvement is the real deal, not hype. You will see.
