If she's indicted he'll pardon her in a heart beat. Why not? There's no controlling authority to review a presidential pardon. It would play well with the soccer moms too: "What a good husband, protecting his wife from those mean old right wing conspirators!!".

And by the way, as a husband he should pardon her. It's called loyalty to your mate. He is in the terrible position where acting as a good husband makes him a bad president.

This is why it is a horrible idea to have such a powerful first spouse and why Americans should never allow it to happen again.
