David, you seem very cynical. I honestly believe that the Starr investigation is winding down, and that he will report fully on his findings. I am not sure how important McDougal's death was in the sense of gathering evidence. I think you need to remember that a lot of the Whitewater witnesses had their own axes to grind, and some of them were trying to get reduced sentences, and that justice had been pretty thoroughly obstructed already before the investigation started. The word of David Hale on his own needed corroboration.
