3, it is my understanding that the timing of options related sales has to do with alternative minimum tax. I'm not an accountant, so I don't know the details of this kind of thing, but as I understand it they must sell for tax reasons. If there is an accountant on the thread perhaps you could explain AMT complexities and ramifications to us, the great unwashed.

There are certain times when insiders may sell qualified stock options. I think it's more of a function of the timing of the
quarterly report than vestation dates.

I doubt there is any way to predict who or when or if there is any trading advantage involved for investors.
