Penni, thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, its very true about reality, 3D or otherwise, sometimes I wonder, "gosh, why was I in such a lather about that" but that only happens when I have a chance to stand back and look at it from a distance. When I'm here it seems very important. I think a short break now and then gives us fresh perspective on the situations and people we encounter here. <<I remember an endless discussion at one time about the color of our kitchens and woodwork and appliances. Riveting.>> Sounds like my kind of discussion.

TO ALL MY FAMILY AT DAR (Thomas, bring the case of champagne in here and start pouring. Nononononono-use the little dickey glasses-this is special.) Has everyone got a glass? OK---this is for you, my wonderful friends at DAR. For the past year and a half you all have encouraged me-online and by e-mail- with sweet words and smacks when I needed them- you have given me courage and belief in myself (and a lot of inspiration, too). And without you I know-I know- that this wouldn't have happened-because I wouldn't have had the guts to do it alone. I just sold my first article to a major magazine for what to me is a princely sum. I was waiting for the contracts to come before I told. I mean, what if they changed their minds-would I have felt like a fool... So to all of you-- thank you from the bottom of my cyber and my real heart. I love you guys!
