JMD... Since DPMI was on the Jan "Hot List", along with VECO, seems worth while to do this now and again... Will give RMBS another check...just about added it last time, but it seemed that it would take a little while to get up to speed..... I know...I have several on the previous list that are a little slow getting out out of the gate... Will get back to you.
//OT//How was the golf? A group of 6 of us will tackle the new "South Padre Island Golf Course" on Saturday for the first time...should be good for a few interesting comments, as 5 of the holes border the bay.../// more to come... TSO

Alright JMD, what's this Dupont Photomasks thing????

You holding out on me bro????

OK, OK, I saw some thing about them having the mask for some super duper turbo speed semi thing in a while, but it didn't like completely register versus the usual tech hype noise.

So whats the deal???

Doug

Industry analysts at Dataquest now predict that DUV stepper shipments will roughly double from 1997 to 1999, ramping from
300 steppers per year to nearly 600 units. VLSI Research analysts estimate that the market for DUV tools will experience a
compound annual growth rate of 43.9 percent between 1997 and 2002.

''We are pleased to see that a vendor of DuPont Photomasks' caliber is taking the appropriate steps to ensure the complete
infrastructure is in place for growth of the DUV market,'' said Edward Dohring, president of Silicon Valley Group's
Lithography Division. ''As the first equipment manufacturer to ship production DUV step-and-scan lithography tools and the
current market leader, we have long realized the explosive potential of this market.''
