ariz23,

I have been asking myself a few questions that perhaps only you can answer.

Why would a person all of sudden and immediately after it is announced that AccuMed is probably going to keep their NASDAQ listing, start posting on Yahoo and SI for the sole purpose of lambasting AccuMed International. All we know about this person is that she is listed on her profile on Yahoo as a female and on SI as a visitor.

This person states to have their own "pathologist" as well as to be receiving information personally from other "cytology professionals". This person reports that: "TracCell has shown no cost saving benefit...especially when the technology is mixed with Thin-Prep" She is quick to point out that 2 labs in Virginia have packed up their instruments and shipped them back to AccuMed because there was "no benefit gains and high number of errors in reading slides on the AcCell." This person also states that AccuMed is not selling any AcCell Systems.

This person goes on to imply that the new CEO knows nothing about AccuMed's cytology products. She further states that the management knows very little about the cytopathology profession. In addition this person reports that AccuMed's "seminar in Chicago was poorly attended" and that many of those in attendance "were not serious about the product". She has made statements such as "this does not look good for this company right now" or this "does not sound too promising to me." She admits that she is not an investor in this company and is not planning to be. Since she doesn't post to any other threads perhaps she is not an investor at all.

I wonder who this person is? I wonder if she is connected to a lab or competing company. I wonder what is in it for her to come on both SI and Yahoo for the sole purpose of attacking AccuMed International? If she is lambasting AccuMed International for personal gain and/or has an interest in a competing lab or company, I wonder if she would be in violation of the terms of use of both SI and Yahoo? I also wonder if she would be in violation of SEC regulations and if her postings may be actionable by AccuMed International as well as its share holders?

Do you have any ideas on this subject? Can you shed any light on this person's motives? If this person was an investor who had lost their shirt with this company like so many of us on this thread has, I could understand all the negative posts. But for a none investor who claims such intimate knowledge about the field and the company to come out of the blue for the sole purpose of lambasting the company just doesn't ring true!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the five posts above represent this person's entire posting career on SI and Yahoo.
