A (not so fond) FAREWELL TO ALL:

I came to this thread well over a year ago after having done extensive
research on this company for more than 2 years previous. I came here
then because I thought I could engage in an exchange of ideas about
the future of this company and the field of impotency.

Just look at the name of this board: "Zonagen(zona)-good buy?"

At that time this was a stock selling in the middle single digits
and seemed to offer appreciation potential provided several
things fell in place.

For a while it did prove to be a good place to exchange ideas.

But now, some 3,000+ messages later, it has deteriorated into
just another company/stock bashing thread.

I thought I had some legitimate contributions to make here and I
think I have. But after reading opinions stated as facts, and
lies perpetrated as facts, I think it's time to move on.

I know I left here once before only to return at a later date.
I don't think that will happen again.

For those who really care, let me just briefly summarize and
separate facts from fiction:

It was and is alleged by some here that this is a scam, a fraud,
etc., etc.

It was suggested that the company lied about their intent to file an
NDA for Vasomax before year-end 1997. No LIE. The FDA as all well
know, changed the parameters for this filing from 300 to 600 patients
which necessitated more time on the company's part.

It was stated by some that the patent for Vasomax would never be
granted. It has been granted but not even that convinced the nay-
sayers.

It was stated that the company's announced plan to re-purchase their
own stock in the open market was another fraud and that "they will
never purchase 1 share." This has now been laid to rest by today's
announcement...although some here will undoubtedly claim that this
too is a fraudulent announcement.

For those who care, let me leave you with my opinion of where
Zonagen goes from here:

1. I fully expect the NDA to be filed before mid-year and probably
sooner rather than later.
2. Will the FDA approve Vasomax? I, of course don't know. But if I
had to guess, I would say yes.
3. I believe there will be other new products announced by this
company that will further the success of this company.
4. I further believe that with regard to the lawsuits filed,
these will disappear one by one (withdrawn) as the real facts
as to the alleged allegations come to the fore.

As for those who claim that Vasomax can't possibly compete with
Viagra, I'll just leave that to the market for a determination.
I personally question Pfizer's 70% efficacy...as have many urologists
in this country. But keep one thing in mind. Viagra will not help
every impotent person...and neither will Vasomax.

I believe this market is much bigger than anyone has dared to predict.
There is so much room for the likes of Upjohn, Vivus, Pfizer and
Zonagen...as well as others not yet in the field, that many can and will prosper.

Thank you to all who have made useful and educational contributions
to this thread. I wish all here...longs, shorts, and the undecided
much success for the future.

Dauntless,

Myron's wife already knows. I just wish I didn't have to see it, too.

I did send him private mail a few days ago, but since he has opted to continue, I thought I should make the obvious point that only someone with very serious problems with his sexuality would be trying to make a case for this stock by calling everyone who disagrees with him a homosexual. Please, the two of you. You're not amusing anyone, nor enlightening anyone, except about problems of your own.

I'd also prefer you call me "Linda" from now on. Joke's over.

Linda
