Part of price movement can be attributed to the Barron's article where the analyst said that Ciena's problem is that their products are too good and only a few of them quench the demand. People may not believe that Barron's is the final word but they pay attention and when they see a small order like this from BA then you have confirmation. I expect that "small orders, low demand" is now the accepted story on Ciena.

Maybe they should start renting the dohickies out.

Hey. You know well that today was the last chance for those who run the "funds" to pretend to not own any stock which is not fashionable. And the street has the story completely wrong on the likes of CIEN and UNPH. LU has vaporware in DWDM now. Note: Would appreciate your view on my "take" on Bell Atlantic "contract" - a first for short distance DWDM. Very postive IMO and totally, completely and not surprisingly not understood by the gurus of Wall Street (choke). Chaz

Did UNPH finish down also? At one point they were up 3 points which was really confusing me since CIEN was in the red.
