To the Thread, Our tone on the thread has changed! Probably due to the price of the stock and the impatience with Q1 numbers due next Thursday??. Let us all play nicely. Two comments on this matter: everyone on this thread has an opinion and a viewpoint and there are many ways to look at management performance. One key way to evaluate management is a safe and efficiently run business that grows, generates jobs, and produces revenue and profits. In this case, TFS has done an excellent job, I think we would all agree. The order cancellation in '96 could have sunk many companies, but we were fiscally sound and conservatively managed and regrouped. Another way to evaluate management is on the rate of return of both equity, and, in our case, stock performance. In this manner TFS has not done a good job. In fact, they have done much less than good, although many of us have made good money by being in the right place at the right time and right price. However, as both TFS and Noblesse have accurately pointed out the return for the past 5 years is quite shabby, and we as investors/owners have a legitimate concern. This should be an issue at the Annual Meeting, and since I will not attend, in my case felt was a question for management. Within the past few days I have talked with both Jeff Buchanan and Liz Sharpe, and I came away with the distinct impression that they are very aware and actively engaged in the specific issue of 'stock valuation'. While no specifics were given me, they listened as I echoed many of the concerns we have expressed on thread, and they shared that this issue is a top priority. Along that line, I will be on the conference call next week and will address this matter if no one else asks. I only received my Proxies yesterday, and have only begun reviewing. One other thing I addressed with Liz Sharpe is the lack of stock ownership by not only several of the directors, but also by several of the senior managers/officers. That is a problem, as we all focus on things we have a vested interest in. Second comment: What does everyone think the Q1 revenue and earnings will be? Raefon has convinced me I am overly optomistic, so my 'guess' is - revenue $21.5 M and earnings $ .16. Ok, everyone can now focus on beating me up, but only if you have a number. regards, Ed
