Todd, you handle negative feedback well. We need more of that on the web. Anyway--(Cabrina, you're the engineer-correct me if I'm wrong) RIBS works by beaming a light source (laser) on the meat. The RIBS product then does a spectrum analysis on the reflected light. Contaminated meat has a different spectrum signature than uncontaminated meat. There is absolutely no impact on the meat, or bacteria (unless you're a physicist fascinated by the Heisenburg principle (or is that Schroedinger's cat?)). RIBS is simply a real time detection system for bacterial contamination of meat. Jim (and yes, "Power Electronics" are cool.)
