Sounds like the same BULLSH*T he's been serving up for close to a year now.

Jason thanks for sharing the call info. Wish there had been something in there that was encouraging. Think you have helped me decide to jump ship and save 25% of my investment. It was obvious from Barker's reply's that he belongs in a position that does not require leadership and sales abilities. Hopefully this company does not go down the tubes and its technology will have some life left by the time it rights the ship with new management.

Good luck to the remaining share holders.

Jim

Unfortunately, Data Race has to compete with modern technology:

Jason-

Interesting conversation..thanks for the post. It's sad but if name recognition (read viability) and price aren't concerns than there's only demand left. And there simply isn't any. Period. No one wants what Rod accurately describes as a mix of old garbage. Quite simply, though I really believed otherwise due to comments on this thread and awards in the mags, etc. that this product wasn't simply whip cream on horseshi*t. But it is, unfortunately. And the IT departments have seen right through it. The VERY sad thing is, there's NO WAY any of the resellers will sell this now. Wanna know what the "delay" from INACOM was? Them telling RACE to take a hike, because they know there's no way they'll be a going concern in a year. No one is going to buy a product that by definition will need support when the company is in danger of going under. The fact that BArker didn't bring up measures to secure $ for the shareholders, via a sale, etc. is criminal for a public officer. I'm sorry you had to listen to a great engineer explain to you how he lost your money by trying to be a business man. Did you ask him how much he and the other officers were paid for their 1997 performance? Nice job if you can get it.....
