I remember a few years back an analyst saying the market is over-valued at 5000.

A bear is a bear is a bear...yawnnnnn.....

freeus, since your a Libertarian, I know you hate to pay taxes. But that's exactly what you do when you trade! If you buy and hold a great company like Dell, you never have to pay taxes. Over the years, a buy and hold strategy outperforms every other strategy. Here's an example. TLAB officially became a 100 bagger since going public in 1982. That works out to a little over 33.3% per annum! And that slice of time includes some rather nasty markets like the fall of 1987.

Another point. Timing has been repeatedly put to the test (statistically) and it has been repeatedly shown not to work. The only ones who get rich off of timing are the newsletter writers who dispense the ideas, and the brokers who make commissions. Bottom line: don't churn!

Regards,

Paul
