"The dog ate my 10K."

From extension filed today:

<<PART III
NARRATIVE

State below in reasonable detail the reasons why Form 10-K, 11-K, 20-F,10-Q, N-SAR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period.

Due to the departure of the chief accounting officer of the Company's
operating subsidiary on February 21, 1998, the Form 10-K could not be filed within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort or expense. This issue was exacerbated by the time required to properly disclose the effect on the Company's financial statements of significant financing transactions that were being negotiated during March, 1998.>>

Night Writer and All, This is a real gut check huh?! I may look foolish in the near future but I gotta tell you my impression when I visited CVUS several weeks ago was favorable and I think we are not as bad off as the indicators may be interpreted. I agree that the indicators are not good but if we expect the worst, we will certainly see that in the tea leaves. Touch therapy comes to mind.

I too must have missed the CFO leaving announcement... bad news does not get better with age, but given the pressure on the stock recently, that announcement would have pulled the plug perhaps done irreparable damage prematurely. We could argue the woulda shouldas but if Shant had faith in being able to pull it out of the financing fire, it would have been irresponsible for him to tank the stock in such fashion.

We will all know soon enough. Nothing to do in the mean time except sit quietly and say our prayers or run up and down the aisles of the airplane screaming like in some grade B flying flick. Let the guy at the controls do his job.... me thinks he's busy trying to get this baby SAFELY on tera firma... and from my personal impression, he does care about the passengers. CAP
