Thanks for the comments Leeza. I bought in recently after reading your comments on the ANCR board and doing a little research. One question-Who is our largest competitor? I've read about many different companies but none stood out as being a main rival. Your comments please.
PS Any thoughts on ANCR?

While at ISPCON, did you see the CacheFlow booth? A major competitor to NTAP in caching is CacheFlow, and they have demonstrated a much higher hit rate (% of requests satisfied from the cache) than has NTAP.

I think NTAP is a terrific company (I'm a long-term shareholder), but caching is an area in which they will get their clock cleaned by CacheFlow. NTAP ought to write off the IMC purchase and go back to making the best fileservers in the business, IMO.

Yes, this thread has been strangely inactive. Yet, NTAP recently announced the F6300 with Tandem fail-safe software. That ought to please the enterprise customers, who can't tolerate anything less than 100% data reliability. Maybe this news will perk up some investor interest in NTAP.
