Ericsson divests another non-core Infocom support business...

STOCKHOLM -- Swedish telecommunications group AB LM Ericsson
has signed a letter of intent to sell its logistics and distribution center in
Huddinge outside Stockholm to Caterpillar Logistics Services Belgium NV.

The move is in line with Ericsson's plans to streamline operations in its
Infocom business area and the aim is to finalize the deal during spring 1998.
The operations include goods handling, packing and storage for group
companies as well as external customers.

Ericsson said Caterpillar Logistics will take over existing operations and the
350 people employees at the operations.
