Motorola exec quits to head start-up - WSJ
NEW YORK, April 1 (Reuters) - Jack Scanlon, a senior Motorola Inc (MOT - news) executive, is quitting to run Global Crossing Ltd, a telecommunications start-up, a surprise move that could disrupt Motorola's plans for a restructuring, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
Scanlon is president and general manager of the company's cellular networks and space business. He has held the job since 1996.

FEDs were mentioned in passing in the recent annual report. The section on PIXT in SI states they are building a 250,000 sq feet fabrication facility in Tempe Arizona. Response #61 in the PIXT thread gives some further details.
