I don't think this is too bad either.

If I understand the last pressrelease well, FDJA is only cancelling the exclusivity provision, i.e. S3 will still be permitted to use FDJA technology, and thus pay royalities, although not as much as required by the former agreement.

I don't know S3 well, but I assume that since S3 has invested some in the FDJA deal, it should be in their interest to continue this development to keep ahead of the competition? Or they may be, as you say, too busy with other things ...
