Paul,

Re: 440BX 100 MHz MB's

Thanks for the info. I have been patiently waiting to upgrade my desktop. Apparently, I only need to be patient a while longer. The extra horsepower of a new system is going to improve my digital photo applications (including manipulating and printing) significantly. More CPU power, faster bus, more/faster RAM, improved video adapter, and faster hard drive will all contribute to a more enjoyable experience <GGG>. As usual my comparative shopping will begin with MUEI, GTW, and DELL.

"This is just step one," said Bob Burnett, vice president of mobile systems at North Sioux City, S.D.-based Gateway. "Within the next quarter, you will see Pentium II everywhere. Price points are going to plummet and the variety of products will expand a whole bunch."

Interesting.

Best regards,
Burt
