Alan, thanks for the informed (and measured) reply.

Question: How do MM's force a stock price down especially when buying pressure is high?

You have made some excellent points. IMO, bulletin board stocks are extremely prone to market manipulation. In an earlier post someone said he never heard of a stock going up 4x for no reason. I can think of at least several that I personally have been in and out of that have done this very thing. None of this means that TPII is not a good company with real prospects. MM's are happy to manipulate both good start up co.'s as well as shams.

Alan, Thanks for your insights on how MM's manipulate the stock price.I just got level II capabilities and need to know how to interpret what I see there. Is there a good site to get this info? What is the significance of quote size? What does it mean if it is 5x25 vs 25x25 vx 25x5 on the bid and the ask. Any help here is appreciated. I am new investor in the last few months, living in Micronesia on the Island of Saipan and trading online through the miracle of the internet. The trading day here is from 12:30 am to 7 am, so I am up much of the night playing the market. I discovered penny stocks a month or so ago. I am into TPII for 30K shares at .34 and wishing I had more! Also got into DGIV for 10 K a few weeks ago when it was at .33, sold half at 1.30 and watched it go to >5.oo today! This is so much more exciting than watching CPQ or DEll and the others I was trading on the main boards, and so far more profitable. OF course I have had a few big losses with the pennies but I am overall way up with them and think I will focus on them for now. I appreciate any insights you have to offer on how to use the level II info to my advantage in trading. Thanks
