Finally someone puts Iran Contra into its proper perspective. I remember it basically as the Dems trying to stop Reagan's/Republican's support of the Contras against the Sandinistas so they passed a 'law' preventing such support and, in effect, giving defacto support to the Marxist Sandinistas. I'll never forget the ill-hidden shock on the faces of Carter et. al. when the Sandinistas were defeated in the elections when it was fully expected the Sandinistas would win in a landslide. halfscot

We are witnessing the most pervasive and aggressive defamation scheme ever hoisted on the American people, and many Americans have been unwittingly enlisted and brainwashed into this partisan war! WAKE UP! For some damn reason, Bill Clinton has totally incensed a small, but vocal and powerful group of Republicans...maybe they just can't believe their so called revolution is dead, or just can't seem to bring themselves out of the 80's, but for whatever the reason they have collectively kept shoveling $#!% at this President. After Bill beat the incumbent Republican "war hero" in '92, the right wing made a strong comeback by changing the guard in Congress in '94 for the first time in many years...then came the shocker of all shockers!...Mr. Bill spanked that @$$ once again in 1996 and sent the so-called "moral majority" into a tailspin! They had better wake up before all this backfires in their face...this is not Hitler's Germany of the 30's, nor is it even McCarthy's America of the 50's...this is America of the NEW MILLINIUM!!! And from here on out, American Presidents will have the right to boink as many chicks, or dudes (female pres.), as their spouse will allow!!! I'll say it again...LEAVE MY PRESIDENT ALONE!!! $tar
