A 3 for 1 stock split triples the open short interest, as well as the float.

How is that going to change the impact of short squeezes?

Based on the short position of 3.5 million shares, then, according to CNBC, yesterday, when they said ..." 30% of the float in AMZN is short".....that would imply that the float is just about 11.5 million shares, not 4 million.

So we now know the correct float, most likely increased due to the recent insider selling. It is 11.5 million shares..........;^)
