Thank you, TMrent. A distributed load is better for multiple 1000 stream application, where input sources can be more versatile. You can also scale up and fine tune at better cost. CCUR is using one disk one stream, according to their software description, in their video server.

tmrent -

I regard you as knowing more about the industry and technology than the rest of us put together. Does your conclusion that it is more cost effective to do home VOD with one NCube-type server than 7 CCUR servers mean that these rumors about Time-Warner and SFA are not believable? Or could there be some software or other advantage that CCUR has which compensates for the price disadvantage on the hardware?

You seem to have become more bullish on CCUR (from some recent post).
In view of the post suggesting the ONCO announcement was premature and
my reading of the ONCO 10-K, which says that they have rudimentary VOD
in most existing properties already (which will certainly slow the rate of any CCUR penetration) and their balance sheet which may not support major expenditures, I have become less bullish on the potential from ONCO.

Therefore, would you please summarize why you now seem to be more positive on CCUR?
