No, he was given limited immunity for his testimony during the Senate Iran/Contra hearings. He was later prosecuted for lying under oath, and the courts held that he could not prosecuted because he was granted immunity. Yes, when you give immunity to a witness, you can't "take it back". Surely the reason why Ken Starr eventually would not grant Lewinsky immunity. Didn't want to buy the proverbial "pig in a poke" or in this case beret.
