Yes, I have my MAKOX and my Malox, too.

If the world's markets collapse by 40% I will have a small loss on MAKOX and large gains from the U. S. market collapse. Depending on what oil and gold do, I might have large gains from those, too.

So I guess I can contemplate with equanimity the prospect of Korea going back below where it was when I got in.

I can't think of anything else to do with my assets. I have not got the energy to be a slumlord.

If you believe that scenario, what, precisely, are you investing in to avoid it?

Worswick,

About Korea and Makox one has to remember, they already had their bear market. Korean equities are selling at ten year lows. I think the risk in USA and Europe is a lot higher than SE Asia. Historically Korean markets have marched to their own beat and not much in sync with US and European markets. My guess is if the US market has a major correction this month, it will create another buying opportunity in Korea. If US market corrects towards the end of the year, impact may be minimal. I am hoping to add to MAKOX if it goes down some more.

BTW I have been waiting for a US market correction for a long time.
