tom--

i'll go you one better. IMHO, those statements were what has caused the weakness in the stock over the last few months. i just wish the idiot had had the good sense to leave before he made the comments.

well, at least now there is some hope that the company can slavage its reputation and investor confidence.

good luck to all,
trey

Tom - thanks for your thoughts about Mr. S. You are certainly not alone. It's very hard for me to gauge the "real" strength of wstl and thus buying it is problematic. The current share price is attractive and in light of adsl, potentially enormous. That said...who knows?

You buying?

Peter

Tom,

It is also possible he overestimated the value of the achieved agreements with Baby Bells. There could of been some conditions included in those contracts/agreements which he neglected to take into account.
