Weekly Portfolio - BOST

Ouch. I don't know what happened yet, but I think I may buy another 700 shares tomorrow at open for the Weekly Portfolio to average down. Basically they filed their 10k on Wednesday, which drove the stock down as it said their 1st qtr revenues weren't enough to satisy their crdit agreements. Why it tanked today could be due to downgrades, institutional selling or some related news I dnd't find yet. Be that as it may, with 343 million in capitlizaton and 0.8 price to sales ratio it looks like I will be holding a bit. Sellng at this loss % (even for 300 shares) would just feed the overreaction today.

PWAV...I've had one extremely good play on PWAV and one pretty bad one all in 1997-8. Originally PWAV had lots of enormous contracts in the making and was unbeatable. Asian exposure got them on the last earnings quarter, PWAV did go down but afterwards the stock recovered quite well. Essentially PWAV is a very strong company and its future recovery will get back on track. I like it.

EPS growth has been tremendous for PWAV in the last 3 quarters from 53 to 116 to 93.. and now we are talking about a negative for this quarter but back to positive growth next quarter. Their EPS was downgraded in the last month, but as you know if they meet this so-called 'downgraded' number they will essentially 'beat' the analyst consensus. By next quarter it seems they will be back on track.
