David - You asked a very good question regarding the 10K. I haven't has time to look at it yet but I will do during the weekend. I am surprised nobody had any comment on that and the 10K yet (except you that is). Besides some very intersting (and right on the money) technical analysis by Sam, people on this thread has been quarreling in a way that reminds me of philosophers arguing about the sex of angels while their city was besieged. The upcoming earnings report will be of paramount importance for the stock as it may reveal a bit how the latest acquisition is fairing. I would be utterly surprised to see the stock top 10 before that. The present trading range is actually the equivalent ot 12 before the 20% or more dilution that the acquisition brought about. I can see accumulation going on as the price of BORL was very resilient against dipping to the low 8's, but it wouldn't surprise me if ti did before earnings as BORL has gone down everytime before prior to earnings. The software sector has been however acting strong along with the market for the last month or so. It was clearly helped by Borland, Novell and Oracle all postings better than expected numbers durings their last earnings releases. Will this trend continue with the string of earnings to be released starting this month? This remains to be seen. In the meantime... Go BORL... Ghassan.
