Bob,

I am reacting to the last "conference call" where a rosy picture
was painted with contract just around the corner. Now we have
rumour after rumour about contracts.

The stock is stuck at .90-1.00 and does not move on relatively large
volume.

Despite all indications to the contrary and my protestations, the shills insisted "no there have been no convergence". "call the company". Then suddenly Woody announces $1M has been converted.
He adds that the deb holders will not convert for a while.
The problem was that they can convert at a bigger discount and
had to cool their jets lest the stock price completely vanish
.

Nick from Computerwire has reported that they have indicated
pending sales every time he talks to them. smallcase bob says
that "they may get a small contract but don't expect the stock
to break much past the dollar mark". How does he know this?
Is this what the debenture holders and the company have agreed to?
Then we have Beachcomber with his rumours of HUGE contracts
and then we have his last cryptic message (Don't take offense BC,
you have acted marvelously on this thread -- all the world is a stage
and we are mere actors...). Benny A. then chimes in with another
teaser!!

The CEO resigns (hardly a good sign)!

Now instead of talking about tangible contracts, we are back to the
Java potential. A "Java processor" is certainly not necessary, (although in many cases it may be optimal) , but moreover, the clock
is ticking and Patriot is quickly losing its edge. I don't see TCI,
which is treating its contract dollars as the holy grail, going
with Shboom unless Patriot teams up with a big player. Nonetheless, this kind of talk takes us back at least where we were a year ago. It is depressing that all we can do is speculate.

My point is that the drama is reaching its climax. The plot can't
afford more twists lest a frustrated audience leave in disgust.

My fervent hope is that someone will pooh-pooh all that I have written
above with some solid news!
