WCOM history is impressive. I own it, but I would like peoples insight on the following subjects:

How is WCOM involved in/or effected by internet telephony?

As a MCI user, I notice that MCIs rates are not the lowest around. Is the company planning to compete in a rate war or some how avoid it?

I thought I heard that UUNet had dropped its internet service rate to $15/month to expand its already huge subscriber base, but have not seen any advertisements or notices since on how it is going. Anyone want to comment on ISP trends?

Qwest magnet, Phillip Anshutez was shockingly inept in running the Southern Pacific Railroad. His main strategy was selling the assets and disinvesting in the infrastructure. The Union Pacific take over came weeks before Chapter 11. Now UP has the SP turd in its pocket. Anyone think he will do better commanding a cutting-edge, fiber network?
