We had quite a few that hung out at the bank. Dad used to say the board of directors was meeting when ever we drove by. The only colorful one that I remember was a fellow that would tie one on and then go down to the court house in the middle of town and preach at the top of his lungs. Everybody would gather round and have a good laugh, the old guy had his bottle in his back pocket, it was a sight to see. But at least they were gentle folk. The ones around here jump you for spare change. They get in your face and won't let up till you cough up a dime or so. Times have changed, or is it just the air out here?
