Doug, this is the year for consolidation of all of the Internet providers and companies like Franklin provided that they have no baggage that would make a WCOM or other huge IP be shy about wanting to buy them. I don't know of any but I am not as close to the company as you and others are that would know more about the internal operations. I have also wondered if Frank would be willing to give up control of his baby to a large conglomerate. Especially if things are looking good from a revenue standpoint. Only Frank and those close to him actually know if FTEL products are true winners. I would like to see a release of a big order to a nationally known ISP or TELCO. That would seal my curiousity about the equipment for sure. We all know that their is a possibility for them to be a shooting star, hence the interest.

Doug,
Just pack some common sense wherever you end up going. That's part of the fun of these kinds of trips; you never know exactly what your gonna find or get yourself into! Be adventurous, but be safe.

Good luck.

Hi Doug, My friend Honey-MOOOO-ned is St Lucia.
They loved it. He also wen to Jamaica, and loved that.
Caymans are VERY EXPENSIVE. I won't go there after stopping there as a port in one of my cruises. St Maarten is gorgeous, but stay on the Dutch side. Too snobbish and BOSSEY (or is that Bessie?)on the French side. My wife and I are looking to vacation the first 2 weeks of June, and haven't figured out where to go. Probably a cruise or Puerta Vallarta. Very affordable, and really nice from what we've HERD!

B.

Off Topic: Sandals is fun Doug its a lot like a club med. But if you want a good shot at good food and you like to sight see than a cruise is your best bet. It controls your costs because eating dinner on these islands are priced at above average NYC restaurants. About 20.00 a plate. Food is included on cruises. If you want the best of both worlds charter a sail boat with your own captain out of Tortola. Probably cost somewhere around $5,000+ that includes food and drinks. St Maarten is wonderful but very expensive . If you like diving Cozumel or Aruba are very good choices i understamd.

Doug, I'm a minnow compared to Seth's cruise idea - me in the $2,000 or less arena. But, my 2 cents. If you go on a cruise be sure it is on a ship large enuff to have stabilizers on it and that it will always get into port no matter the roughness of the seas. I got stuck on a Carnival boat that kept us at sea because it was too rough to dock or transferr via ferry. Also, if you are on a ship your options are limited to what's on the ship so make sure it has what you want onboard. Typically - eating, bingo, gambling, drinking, splashing in wading pool. All stuff I can do in my back yard. I opt for going to a Place and then taking daytrips from there. mho ed
