This authorization is for the incorporation of Engine Control Systems, Engelhard Corporation or Nelson Industries equipment on DD engines to meet the 25% pollution reduction target. That is an independent issue altogether as the bus operators must install the better pollution management system if it is available. Remember, DD is in the business of building and supplying new and rebuilt engines and needs this type approval to be able to ship them to it's customers. regards
