Sounds like you know something. Are you not
at liberty to tell even though you no longer

A breath of fresh air would be YOU refraining from deciding what "we" need and speak for your self. It was quite obvious when a person contradicted the head of the company on a PUBLIC board that THEY thought THEY knew what is best for EVERYONE else.
