TO ALL:.... Opinions of CURRENT on-line Service

When I used E*Trade a few years ago, there were a lot of problems.

Are daytraders there overall happy with the speed of executions
and reliability of the confirmations?

How fast are the executions now? I would appreciate everyone's
CURRENT opinion on using ETrade as a daytrader.

Any major problems happening still? Are the web pages accessable
at market open? Do the pages download faster now? Can you access
the web pages during heavy volume?

Any other additional information regarding E*trade would be beneficial. Most current experiences would be best.

Thanks,
S.W.

I'm not sure of the reason(s) for the increase, but if one takes creed in postings on The Motley Fool, speculation has it:

(1) Earnings will be reported soon, maybe as early as April 7; and
(2) Earnings will beat analysts' expectations, maybe as high as 67%.

I don't know if or not you would agree, but my thinking is: Whether a bear or bull market, online trading will not be hurt. Even a major/minor correction of the market should produce revenues for companies of online trading. After all, people want to buy or dump which means transaction fees.

In any event, insiders must know something that we, as yet, do not know (nothing new in that statement) because volume made a big jump on April 1and $$$ has steadily increased this week from 24 1/4 to 27 3/16. Let's hope EGRP returns to the 52-week high of 47.87.

Any news? Please post. Thanks.
