The following is for MUSE produced by VIVUS (VVUS) The New England Journal of Medicine -- January 2, 1997 -- Volume 336, Number 1 Treatment of Men with Erectile Dysfunction with Transurethral Alprostadil Methods. Alprostadil was delivered transurethrally in a double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 1511 men, 27 to 88 years of age, who had chronic erectile dysfunction from various organic causes. nejm.org

Perry, BTW, I am also an investor in PFE, purchased 400 shares a year ago in the upper 40 range for my 401(k) account. Sold 200 shares early this week, returning my $ original investment and leaving me with 200 shares in this well run company. I still like PFE and expect continued long term growth, both in revenues, profits and shareholder returns. I posted the previous note about other ED drugs, specifically about MCHM for two reasons, one because I am an investor in MCHM and two, there is more to PFE than just Viagra. The whole media hype around this new drug sounds like an infomercial to me. I wanted to post a different point of view with some facts. Thanks for the kind response, as there are other threads in SI that would have jumped all over a post such as mine. wd
