I guess it's not too hard to be a contrarian in this market and do better than the other contrarians. All you have to do is sit on cash, and not short anything, and you'll beat the others.

I prefer the high road personally...

I don't want to get into another discussion about definitions of terms.

Maybe we can agree that:
There is an inhearent risk in buying (or shorting for that matter) common stocks.
Regardless as to how good your research is, Regardless of how confident and how much homework you do, all investors that trade stocks for a long period of time have a very real risk of comming in and finding one of their stock down 20-90% from the previous day.

Basicaly, if you do this long enough, you will be wrong big time sooner or later.

I call this Market Risk :)
