Look, as long as they're making Orb drives and discs, this hurts EVEYONE else- IOM, SYQT, you name it. I could care less if they make money or not, because one cannot invest in their stock anyway.

All that matters is if they can deliver the Orb and in sufficient numbers- this will spell disastor for Iomega and Syquest's bottom line. As long as I get my SCSI Orb drive with $29 media, I'll be a happy camper. So will thousands if not millions of other users.

Sy Ifkar(?), the founder of Castlewood Systems, also started Seagate and Syquest. This guy obviously knows what he's doing. Don't make the mistake of discounting his market and technological savvy.
