Hi Bobby
don't understand why Japanese savers start moving into gold as it
appears that Yen might tank a lot more and thus they can also make
money on currency exchange besides having the potential for much
higher gold prices..
also has the bottom been put in for energy or after another retest
will the bottom be put in..
El nino or I tend more to believe in general weather cycles is past..
what will next winter bring? If oil has bounced back so quickly with
out draconian measures from OIL cartels..what does that mean about
future oil prices..
also with this merger mania which has also added a lot of liquidity
to the market..won't that have to slow down shortly..
also competition in prices with cars from Japan..more deflation?
with meltdown in computer prices..what will that do to bottom line
with YR2000 creating budget changes in corporations, what will that
further do with hardware acquisitions
with hmo's suggesting higher prices, what will that do with descretionary money
with I think the average hourly wage a bit over $12 an hour, that doesn't sound like US citizens are doing that well..what does that
translate into yearly wages..
corporations are less inclined to retrain workers..more workers will
have to pay for their own retraining programs..
heard on news that so many Americans don't have math skills or reading
skills to deal with more demanding conditions of work..
also I tend to think of the FTSE as a leading indicator for global
markets..do you ever check that chart to see if high put in..

agree with Goldsnow that Clinton will probably face more severe
trouble a bit down line..possibly the Republicans have been holding
back until we get closer to election time..
had a major disagreement with a close friend..she also thinks it is
the far right..that the American people are against Starr..that he
has gone to far..I think it is self interest..as long as stock market
etc is flying..people think clinton serves them best..we shall shortly
see...(unlike me, she hasn't had sexual harrassment on job..trust me
it is really awful..one can become terrified that one can't find another job for fear of some awful reference from the rejected party..
also people on the job can turn one into a pariah to help insure their
own job)(agree with judge for throwing out PJ case and think it will
help to put the focus on issues that potentially are critical..but
wonder if there will be more sexual power games)(also wonder if a
lot of people will learn if one tries to do something for ones own
self interest..ie. trying to seek favors from somebody in power it
can blow up in ones face and one doesn't necessarily get what one is
trying to get)(truly best to hang out with God fearing or the great unknown
fearing people)
everything

Isn't Prechter usually wrong - we have short memories, strange how these guys come back in waves.

I know a number of pet cats with Platinum cards and Columbia records memberships <G>.

I follow Yvan Auger's site regularly:

mgl.ca

Wouldn't there need to be something weirdly catastrophic to push the AUX to a point near 35 as Auger suggests (e.g. POG less than $200)? I'm a big fan of conspiracy theories, so any thoughts of Japanese buying gold to wipe out the dollar sound plausible to me.
