Access to time and sales and NASDAQ Level 2 would have shown you that the overwhelming majority of sells were blocks of 1000 and less. In addition, a great amount of buys were in blocks of 10,000-100,000. I suspect that these purchases must have been market makers and institutions adding substantive amounts of ORCL to their portfolios.

Regarding your comment "Can't tell you what the last 7000 after-hours trade at 28 3/4 means" it means that someone purchased $201,250 worth of ORCL in addition to the other $200,000 worth that was purchased after five o'clock.
