Rick, I disagree when you say that Tony is relying only on intellect and reason in his search for God. It appears that Tony is also using his emotion and feelings when he says that he can understand and relate to others peoples search for meaning in God in other religions.(please unerstand the difference between understanding and relating and believing) I agree with Tony that Most of the major religions have many similarities at their core. It is only through understanding and tolerance that this world will ever begin to approximate the desires that god has for it. Emile is way wrong when he says that to respect another religion is to disrespect Jesus. It is almost disrespectful of Jesus for him to say that:-) Ask yourself this question. If Jesus where here on earth today, would he want you to show disrespect to others beliefs, or show them a helping hand? Using his life as an example, what do you think he would do? Show a prideful and intolerant stance becasue some people had other beliefs, or show the world how to love and accept EVERYONE, including those who speak out against him? Don't go searching through scripture for the answer, just look into your own heart and tell me what he would do? Mark
