Does Digital River have a hardware product for electronic content distribution? It doesn't seem like it. And the inverse question -- is Microsoft interested in hardware solutions to Electronic Software Distribution -- I didn't see it mentioned in my quick read of the article, although it would fit right in. In fact, no matter what software ESD solution MSFT comes up with, the WaveMeter will be the perfect way to make payments -- these software ESD companies might not be competition at all.
