You didn't miss much! In fact, I take this opportunity to publicly request BAT International to stop the practice of preempting press releases with private email to a select group of investors in BAAT. Not only does this practice fly in the face of fair play, but their last two attempts at this have hung investors who have received the email and traded on this information. I refer to recent news about the Kiplinger Report and the global partnership for electric vehicles. Both times, investors who received these special email messages have bid the price of BAAT up before the news hit normal wire distribution channels. Both times, once the news is out, the stock has sold off. I have gone back and read the email distrubited by BAT, and it appears what is happening, is that BAT is not supplying all the information in its email it sends out to its preferred investors. Hurting those who they ostensibly intend to help. Ole Joe complains of misinformation, Now I'm complaining about full disclosure. Case in point, here is their latest email... B.A.T. FORMS GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP FOR HIGH VOLUME ELECTRIC VEHICLE PRODUCTION IN MEXICO BURBANK, CA-- B.A.T. International (BAAT:OTC)(http://www.baat.com) has joined with World Transport Authority (WTA) of El Cajon, CA, Detech, Corp. (DTK:ALBERTA Stock Exch.) of Canada and Environmental Process Advanced S.A. (E.P.A.) of Mexico to form a global partnership to enter into high volume production of electric vehicles in Otay Mesa, Mexico and other locations world wide. The vehicle chassis, which is light weight, strong, easy to manufacture and inexpensive to build, will be combined with B.A.T.'s state of the art electric drive systems and advanced batteries to achieve both very low pricing targets and very competitive performance. The resulting "Clean World Car tm" (electric version) will match acceleration and speed of today's internal combustion vehicles and it will produce zero pollution. The problem with this message is its reference to "high volume production". It isn't until the news hits the wire that investors discover high volume refers to a goal of 1000 units the first year. I submit, the email miss led investors by not disclosing the 1000 unit goal. Something I pointed out on the thread after seeing it. A similar thing happened with the Kiplinger Report. BAT issued signals of the report being aired, but it neglected to mention the title of the report, "Penny Stocks Loose Dollars". Or something like that. Anyway, BAT builds the gullible investor up with its private email messages, only to let him down when the event occurs. I'm sorry folks, but that is what the tick, wire, and email show. Discussion?
