This stuff about BAT International sending private email to it's
preferred shareholders is a figment of your imagination. If you want to
be on their email list all you have to do is go to the batt site
and send an email to news@batt.com

If you go back and read osvaldo diaz-christians's message # 3217
what he is talking about is a fax that he received at about 8 p.m PST from BAT.
www3.techstocks.com

In my discussion with some long time shareholders of BAT I have
discovered that BAT routinely sends out faxes to about 1200 comprising
members of the general public, media,Industry and shareholders who had
requested to be on the list.

BAT had in the past been sending faxes to these people thru the
on-site computer. As you know sending 1200 faxes could possibly
take several days. So recently BAT had contracted the services
of a fax-blast service firm in Hollywood.

As a standard practise BAT sends out press releases to the wires,
people on the fax list and people on the email list
all at the same time so that no one has unfair advantage.
Unfortunately there was a foul up with the fax on April 2.
The fax was put on a timer so that it came out at 6.30 a.m PST on April 3.
However due to some screw up either with BAT's computer or
the fax-blast service it came out at about 7.30 p.m on April 2.

I don't think this foul up gave anyone unfair advantage simply because
the wires reported the news promptly at 6.30 a.m on April 3 right at the opening bell.

It was not the people on the fax list who were trading at the opening
bell but the day traders. Day trading is got to be a full time job
with many a people nowadays you know. In fact I'm contemplating
of quitting my day job and joining the ranks.

If Christain was going to use this information to get a jump on
everyone at the opening bell he did not have to post on SI immediately on April
2.

As far as the Kiplinger Report is concerned the lady who ran the show
did call Joe and profusely apologized about the mix-up. BAT was led to
believe the Kiplinger report was doing a story on BAT's super car and
the Dolphin pulse charge technology. A 8 minute tape about the
Geo-metro was requested by Kiplinger which did not make it for the show on time.

I saw the report down here in Florida and believe the report did show
BAT is a positive light. The story also mentioned how the penny stocks
get beaten down by the media.

Excuse me, but I would say that 1,000 units is considered by me to be HIGH VOLUME PRODUCTION, when you consider how many were produced last year, or the previous one, or the one before that. Let's see, how much of a % increase is that? Hmmmm, I like me holdings here more and more each day. I should've bought more, but heck, I've already averaged up a couple of times here, so I guess I'm good. For now, anyway.
